Proper field care helps ensure the best possible results for your trophy. Follow these simple steps before bringing your animal to Proveaux Taxidermy.

Wrap securely, double bag, and freeze as soon as possible to help protect the specimen.

Large Game

Keep the animal cool and dry. Freeze if possible and bring it to the taxidermist as soon as you can.

Small Game

Keep cool and dry after harvest. Freeze as soon as possible to help preserve the hide and fur.

Game Birds

Wrap securely, double bag, and freeze promptly. Avoid placing birds directly on ice or in standing water.
